A Spanish course for health care professionals |
This course takes place in our school in Guanajuato, Mexico. It is designed for doctors, registered nurses and others who work (or intend to work) in the medical sector.
Structure and content: you will have 20 lessons during the first week to improve your knowledge of Spanish and 10 additional classes consisting of terminology and phrases appropriate to this field, which will increase to 20 classes in the second week.
Objective: improve your Spanish and develop skills and knowledge to improve communication with Spanish-speaking patients. The program also includes a hospital visit.
Course content:
- Essential grammar (reflexive verbs, to hurt & to like, comparison of adjectives, pronouns, imperatives, verb + infinitive, key verbs.)
- Alphabet, numbers, dimensions, colors, time expressions, useful greetings / expressions.
- Spanish for Nurses and Laboratory Technicians (blood test, etc)
- Orthopaedics and rehabilitation.
- Conversation with patients.
- Parts of the human body.
- Laboratory procedures.
- Admission data.
- Medical history.
- hysical terminology.
