Spanish Courses in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The School

Our partner school in Santo Domingo is located in the "Zona Universitaria" district and faces the largest Dominican University´s campus (UASD). The building is bordered by a garden with terraces that are perfect for socialising, while the indoor classrooms are simple and cozy. All of this adds up to an extremely friendly and personalised atmosphere. Jump on public transport and in a mere 10 minutes you'll find yourself in the city's historic Colonial Quarter where theatres, museums, and restaurants abound.

Spanish Courses in Santo Domingo

  • Super-intensive Group Course: 30 weekly classes

Activities and Excursions

The most common activities are:

  • Dance classes
  • Visits to museums
  • Theatres
  • Cultural events
  • Hiking

Our Opinion

You can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities in Santo Domingo due to its impressive variety of landscapes. You can trek through lush jungles and semi-arid deserts, hike the mountains, or simply bask in the warm Caribbean sun on white beaches. Although the country is a popular tourist destination, much terrain remains largely undiscovered and unblemished. Whether exploring the Dominican Republic´s natural beauties or dancing to merengue rhythms with the local crowd, this is a country offering a vast array of possibilities to get immersed in the culture for students learning Spanish in the Dominican Republic.
