D.E.L.E.
Stands for 'Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera. The only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.

Preparation course for the Chamber of Commerce Madrid exam.
The exam is officially recognized by the Chamber of Commerce and the University of Alcalá in Madrid.
D.E.L.E. stands for 'Diploma de Expañol como Lengua Extranjera' or the Diploma 'Spanish
as a Foreign Language'. It is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers officially recognized
by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
This Diploma has great international value, certainly for those who are going to study at a Spanish university and who want
to work, or are going to work in a Spanish speaking environment.
We advise everyone who is going to take a lengthy 'Spanish for Life' course to take the D.E.L.E -examination.
It is a tangible, valuable rounding off to your stay in Spain.
The levels
D.E.L.E. has three levels:
- Diploma Inicial de Español
- Diploma Intermedio de Español
- Diploma Superior de Español
These exams take place in May and November.
D.E.L.E. preparation courses
You can follow the D.E.L.E. preparation courses for the Certificado Inicial, Diploma Intermedio or Superior at all Spanish Schools schools (except Tenerife). Till now a very high percentage of our students have succeeded. However, this does not guarantee that you will successfully pass the official D.E.L.E. exam, as this always depends upon various circumstances. However, we do guarantee you the high quality of these courses.

The place and time of the course are fully harmonized with the examination dates established by the Spanish
Ministry of Education and Science. Because of the practical advantages most students take the examination in Spain.
The exact dates and the examinations fees are set each year by the Instituto Cervantes and each examination center. The deadline to enroll
is usually 1 month before the examination date.
Students who wish to enroll for the examination can contact the Spanish Embassy, Consulate or the Instituto Cervantes.

1 tuition hour: 50 minutes.

This exam is officially recognized by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and the University of Alcalá.
The title was established by the Chamber of Commercer, Industry and Navigation of Madrid in 1978. This recognition has great international value especially in the labor market which will enable you to have an easier access to this and give a boost to your career!
Spanish Schools offers you a preparation course for the Basic Certificate with a duration of 4 weeks. The Spanish for Business course is available at Spanish Schools Barcelona, Madrid and Salamanca, while the Spanish for Business (Tourism) is available at Spanish Schools Granada and Tenerife.
During the course you will have a total of 30 classes per week. You will spend 20 lessons improving your knowledge of Spanish and 10 lessons per week consist of specialization.
The exam takes place at any time after completion of the course and after approval of the Academic director.
